Diana – the Lake and Her Mysteries
The cult of Diana Nemorensis is one of the most ancient and fascinating in Italy: we can find traces going back as far as the Neolithic era and, even if it has been subjected to intensive study and research, it’s still largely shrouded in mystery.
Ancestral kingship, ritualized violence, rites of passage, cult of the dead and an intense sacredness of wild nature are woven together, forming a landscape that is both complex and rich, where we can feel right away the presence of an ancient, powerful Mystery.
About ten years ago, Giulia listened to Diana’s call and, joining the academic expertise of a degree in Archaeology and the training as an Initiate and High Priestess of Ara, she took up the challenge of attempting to rediscover a path that lay hidden, but never completely dormant, in the folds of time.
Intensive Workshop dedicated to the cult of Diana Nemorensis
This workshop is addressed to all the people feeling the call of Diana and of the sacred inhabiting wild places: we will not only learn about the ancient cult of this goddess, but also discover how to step unto Her path and to the Mysteries of the Lake.
We will unveil the secrets and the practices that will allow us to bring the magic and the power of wild places in our life, how to honor them and create a strong bond between ourselves and the place we live in: a sacred bond, that can heal ourselves and the world around us.

– Offering an accurate historical-archaeological background on the cult of Diana Nemorensis
– Exploring the sacred geography that centers itself in the Nemi Lake and, at the same time, in the authentic core of everyone that is called by this goddess.
– Establishing a simple, intense daily practice, that can keep the relationship with Diana strong and alive.
– Learning how to strengthen the sacred net binding us to the spirits of the place where we live, through the help of Diana and all the spirits surrounding her and the use of a specific technique.
– Getting in contact with the spirits inhabiting the sacred universe of the goddess and learning how to interact with them by using simple and effective practices that can positively impact our daily life and deepen our understanding of Her Mysteries.
– Meeting the two mirroring aspects of Diana, dark and bright, and learning about them through the study of their characteristics and direct experience.
